IoT.nxt, a specialist Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider and a subsidiary of the Vodacom Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lazo Karapanagiotidis as its Chief Executive Officer, effective from 01 September 2024.
A highly accomplished leader with over 20 years’ experience in driving transformative growth and innovation across global markets, Karapanagiotidis was instrumental in defining and executing the IoT.nxt strategy as Interim CEO, a role he has held since December 2023.
Before stepping into the role of Interim CEO, Karapanagiotidis served as Chief Product and Marketing Officer, where he successfully defined IoT.nxt’s product strategy, fostering partnerships and driving go-to-market strategies for IoT and AI solutions across the EMENA region in collaboration with Vodacom and Vodafone, with notable traction in the UK, EU, and across Africa.
Commenting on his appointment, Karapanagiotidis shared: “I am honoured to take the reins as Chief Executive Officer.
